A parasitic bolete (Pseudoboletus parasiticus) fungi was discovered in Ecclesall Woods last week by one of the Rangers. It is apparently quite a rare find. Parasitic bolete is easily distinguished from other fungi in the Bolete family as it occurs exclusively with the common earthball (Scleroderma citrinum).
