On Saturday 30th November ecologist Jim Clarke led a public bird walk in Ecclesall Woods, with support from the Friends of Ecclesall Woods.
24 bird species were spotted:
blackbird, blue tit, bullfinch, carrion crow, coal tit, dunnock, fieldfare, greenfinch, great tit, goldfinch, gold crest, jay, kestrel, long-tailed tit, magpie, mistle thrush, nuthatch, redwing, robin, rook, siskin, treecreeper, wood pigeon and wren.
